We call
Divine Love forth first, because Love is the primary Power. If you call
forth the other Spiritual Powers, they do not have balance or the full
ability to harmonize and unify with the other Powers without Divine
Love. They are empty without Divine
Love.
Divine Love
is the reason for all things. Out of
Divine Love all was, and is created. Divine
Love unifies and harmonizes all the universe, and all of us together as one.
The sum total
of your spiritual gifts equals the Christ Consciousness. Calling forth your twelve spiritual powers
and developing a balance in the awareness and application of them is the
process of establishing your Christ Consciousness.
When we
function from our Christ Consciousness, our spiritual powers are active and
balanced, and we are balanced between our thinking and feeling natures
(masculine and feminine natures). We function from Heart
Mind, which is a balanced state of
being.
Divine Love
is expressed in our consciousness through our feeling nature, and it is an
important spiritual tool in developing and balancing our feeling nature with
our thinking nature, and developing Heart Mind. A lack of balance results in
intellectualism or emotionalism.
Divine Love
is a spiritual gift. It is not an
emotion. It is often confused with
emotion because it is expressed through the feeling nature, just as
emotion is. But Divine Love is a
spiritual power that is drawn upon to settle our emotions, and to balance our
feeling nature.
If you wish
to know whether you are experiencing genuine love toward a person, or simply
an emotional feeling, ask your self whether or not you have any conditions on
your love toward this person. Must
they behave in a certain manner for you not to be upset, or disappointed with
them? Must they behave in a certain
way to receive your love? Do you
require that they believe a certain way for you to love them? If you have conditions on your love, it is
emotionalism, or conditional love, and this is simply seeking to have your
own needs met.
Emotions come
and go, but Divine Love is never changing. Truth is determined by consistency. That which is the most consistent is the
greatest truth.
Divine Love
is not meant to satisfy your own personal needs. It is your ability to know you oneness with
all. In truth, it is that which
supports the universe. In truth, it is
your ability to know and be one with God.
Divine Love
is your ability to desire that only good come to all. For Divine Love is unlimited, and it seeks
only that good comes to all. Divine
Love is Spirit and Divine Love is perfect and limitless. When you can release ideas and feelings
about advantages and disadvantages and come to desire that good come to all,
you are exercising your spiritual power of Divine Love.
Divine Love
has a magnetic, attracting power.
Gravity is love. You too are
magnetic, and draw anything to you that you love. If you love a person or an object, you draw
them to you.
Your
attention is an expression, a focus of your love. What you give your attention to, even
negative ideas or conditions, is what you are consciously, or unconsciously,
giving your love to and are attracting into your life. The grace of recognizing Divine Love’s
magnetizing, attracting power is that you can deliberately start focusing on
that which you want to experience in your life.
To love
someone is to see your oneness with them.
To love someone is to desire that only good come to them. To love someone is to draw them to you and
experience them spiritually, whether they are physically present or not. To love prosperity, health, or material things
is to draw them into your living experience.
If any of these things are drawn into your life for the purpose of
personal ego advantage over another, it is not Divine Love. Divine Love, like gravity, pulls and
harmonizes all things together with abundance and prosperity for all.
Divine Love
is the great harmonizer of the universe.
It is spiritual ointment for chaos and confusion. As it draws things together, it does so in
harmony. In this sense, Divine Love
brings freedom. When you love someone,
you free them. When you love a
situation, you free it. When people
and conditions are free, they are receptive to the natural harmony of the
universe. Your ability to love
restores the natural harmony of the universe.
